The service was fast. Picked up some chicken and it was pretty good especially for the price. The system they use grab a number and wait to get called went by fast. Will be coming here more often

Came here specifically looking for chicharrones. I ended up leaving with bags of groceries! When you get there, walk to the back of the store and TAKE A NUMBER. I didn't know this and ended up standing around for a minute before someone super nice told me. It is very busy, but, don't let it deter you. They move fast and it's worth it. 1 - their pollos asados are hella bomb 2 - their chicharrones are highly recommended 3- I got their ready made tomatillo salsa (green one) and it was legit 4- the prices for the arrachera are the lowest I've seen 5- their chorizo is made in house and it's delicious

Love this place, BEST BURRITOS IN LOS BANOS. This is a Carniceria and they have meat, groceries, fresh vegetables, beer, etc. They sell party trays and all types of Mexican food. I love their food. Take a number and tell them what you want and then eat and enjoy.

Oh man this is officially my pit stop when passing through Los Banos. The chicharrones were delicious (I had never had them with meat attached to the crispy rinds), and they also heated up well at home in a toaster oven. They had a special on birria when I was there so I opted for a birria burrito and it was ginormous. My husband's super burrito was even larger - afterwards he admitted he could've been less greedy and gone for a regular size also. The store was packed with locals when we went, so we knew we had found a good place. Since we were on the road, we appreciated their outdoor patio and the fact that they had a restroom (for customers only). I can't wait to drop in again and get more delicious food, especially those chicharrones!

Meat market and a restaurant inside. We like to stop here on our way Monterrey because they have huge burritos to fill us up on the road. I recommend the Chile Verde Burrito (I ordered it with rice, beans, and cilantro). My husband got the Carne Asada but he preferred my burrito better.

A few months ago, my husband came home from taking our kids to get haircuts and he says "so the guys where talking in there and they said that I should try La Michoacana". Well it's not as if he needed anymore encouragement or convincing because every time we pass there, someone is out there grilling and we always say we need to try it one day. So one day we walk in, I think it was a Wednesday and order a carne asada burrito to share. We were thankful we only bought one because the thing was so heavy. Then we go to cut it in half and like a volcano waiting to erupt, all of this mexican food goodness began falling out. The carne was well prepared and seasoned, not tough at all. All of the ingredients was fresh and just overall yummy. We've been back a few other's time to take our kids. Burritos always come out awesome. Yesterday we stopped in to pick up a couple lbs of their carnitas and some rice for dinner. We knew from the other times we had been in, to come early because on the weekends they get hit hard and you want to get yours. We also picked up a container of their in-house made guacamole. Picked up some produce to make my own pico de gallo and we were home bound. We had carnitas tacos, rice and I made some shrimp ceviche. Dinner was muy yum! There is ample parking. You can eat at any of their tables outside next to the bbq pit but let me warn you, the place is tiny. The food is served and kept in the back of this little grocery store along with the fresh meats and as soon as you get back there PULL A NUMBER, don't stand around waiting your turn..lol! If you are going for lunch I'd suggest you be there by 11 so that you miss the rush and believe me there is ALWAYS a rush. If you decide you want to pick up some food for dinner on the weekends, I suggest you pick up your food around 3 so you aren't disappointed when they run out. This place is quite the inconspicuous diamond in the rough. Everyone from the back to the front cashiers are helpful and expeditious, they get you in and out as fast as possible without feeling like you're missing out on anything. Happy Mexican Food Eating Yelpers!
